Boracay 2013: Fun Munch and Crunch

image

(Previous: Boracay 2013 entry #2)

Our Boracay vacation won’t be complete without the 24-hour fun. Day and night, the three of us are always on the go! We spent most of our time swimming, taking photos, walking…. walking, EATING OUT… and walking some more. lol.

Of course we didn’t miss the chance of pampering our tummies by trying out some of the savory flavors of the beach. Boracay homes numerous restaurants serving various types of local and international cuisines that suit all vacationers’ different food preferences. Lucky for us we were not worried about our diets so we had the chance to pig out during the vacation. lol.

The summer heat enticed us to get some iceys!

We went to Jony’s & tried out their refreshing and flavorful fruit shakes. I got an Avocado Banana flavor myself. :)

What goes perfectly with a delightful refreshment? A delish plate of crispy and flavorful nachos. I could tell that the three of us are really into nachos since almost every cafe we’d been to (even in Pampanga), we never fail to order nachos & fries.

After our fruity, refreshing trip at Jony’s, we took a walk and had some fun time by the beach.

Nightlife in Boracay is probably the most awaited fun time of the day. Naturally, we would try out a pub and dance at our own liking but we preferred to chill out at Bucos, watch a live band and enjoy sipping cocktails that night.

A glass of passionate red cosmopolitan for me.

We also tried out Don Vito’s bacon and fries that gave us happy and heavy tummies .

The District hotel’s night lights.

During the morning, our little side trips also took us to some of the must try’s in Boracay. One if them is Jammer’s Burgers located at Station 2 by the beach front. It’s a 24-hour food joint that serves really tasty burgers and cheesedogs. A perfect merienda place.

We also tried out Smoke — one of the known must try’s in Boracay serving inexpensive Filipino cuisines. I have to say that I would definitely dine here and order that stuffed squid again when I come back to Boracay.

Some perfect mornings are just meant for eggs and hot dogs. lol. It’s still my favorite 7:00AM meal.

As I’ve told you at the beginning of this post, most of our time were spent on walking which granted me to take some acceptable photos of the sights and some shopping finds.
