18th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta

image

I’m so lucky to have witnessed the spectacular views of the 18th Philippine Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in Clark, Pampanga last Sunday, February 24, 2013. I was so exuberant to see the colorful hot air balloons but before I was able to see them up close, we had to take the long walk from the entrance gate.  As we got there, I noticed that despite of the crowd and really hot weather, thousands of people are still coming to Clark to see the event.  Well, it doesn’t surprise me; I was excited to see it myself.

Hey, I brought my car with me. :D

Me at the fiesta. Excuse my tired face. If you would notice, most of the people around me are carrying umbrellas because of the extremely hot sun rays. Poor me. lol.

People watching the flying jets expedition.

They’re really good. While I was watching them I was mouthing “AWESOME!”

After the expedition, we went to look around. The wonderful colors and shapes made me attracted to these paper lanterns.

I was able to see the training planes at Omni Aviation.

Oops. Cuteness spotted.

We were about to leave but I noticed that my car went out for a trip by himself. lol. Look who came to fetch me instead.^_^

I wasn’t able to hang around much at the fiesta due to my busy afternoon schedule. So yeah, I wasn’t able to see the glowing hot air balloons at night. :(

But I’ll probably come again to the hot air balloon fest next year and by that time, I’ll make sure that I can spend the whole day there. ;)
